I want to cry!
I just want to cry. Nathan has his two year check-up today, so I wanted to weigh him at home first to prepare myself. He weighs just 19 pounds even. up a whole 3 ounces since June 29th. That is not exactly going to impress the GI doctor on Thursday. I just cannot believe he is still not gaining weight. He still fits in all his clothes from six months ago! I am so sad, I just want to cry.

Off To School!
Well-Nathan had a great birthday! He is getting so big! Well not really, I just wanted to say that. He is getting big in terms of attitude. He had a good time at his party and took a four hour nap the next day.
Nathan will be starting school in September, the same daycare where Libby goes to school. He will be in the "tweens" room two days a week. We think it would be good for him to be around other kids his age. The occupational therapist and teacher agree. I am worried about him. Not just about getting colds (he will) but also about just about being different. I think it will also be good for Libby. She has never liked going to school, but it was especially hard going to school when Nathan got to stay home with "golf Mee Maw" for the last two years.
We met with the nutritionist again this week. She suggested adding heavy cream to everything-like make pudding with heavy cream, eggs, mashed potatoes etc. If you see Mark and I getting very large instead, you know we accidently switched our food. We also need to count calories for a few days which will not be easy. That way we will know if he is getting enough calories and just metabolizing it too quickly or if we need to find a way of getting more calories in him.
We also had bloodwork done to test his nutritional levels again. Next week in addition to his teacher and his physical therapy appointments, he has a regular 2 year check up on tuesday and a GI appt on Thursday. We'll keep you posted! I want to take a picture of Nathan's fingers for those of you who don't get to see him. They are pretty bad. I tried this morning, but as I said he is not so cooperative these days.

Happy Birthday!
Today is Nathan's second birthday, although it shouldn't be for another month and a half. I am still a little annoyed with him for being born so early-I know two years later, I should probably not be holding a grudge. Anyway, he is doing fine, nothing new and exciting. He had a kid party on Friday and had lots of fun! He does have another tooth coming in on top-that makes three teeth total! We have not weighed him in a while, don't even want to know.
Today is the family party. I made Hi-5 party decorations because it is his favorite show and they don't make Hi-5 party decorations. I put them all up at 4 this morning when I couldn't sleep. When he came down this morning, he was so excited!
